This procedure is similar to a regular eye examination. Your eye will be dilated with drops. The doctor will ask you to sit close to the Yag laser, resting your chin in the support. You will hear a clicking sound when the laser is activated. The laser light beam will pass through the cornea and lens implant and make a tiny opening in the posterior capsule. This opening will eliminate the "blurry" vision. The procedure is painless and takes only a few minutes.

After the procedure, your physician will prescribe some eye drops for you. There are no limitations on your activities after this procedure.
